#ETTWomenTV: Dr. Julie Davelman

Dr. Julie Davelman received her Bachelors of Art in Psychology from New York University, and her Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology from St. John’s University.

In her current position as a psychologist at Abrams Psychological Services, Dr. Davelman uses her diverse clinical background to provide individual and group therapy for people experiencing a wide gamut of clinical symptoms, including depression, anxiety, anger and trauma. Additionally, through her involvement with Births, Babies and Beyond, Dr. Davelman is actively involved in the promotion of mental health as it relates to family life, and especially to the starting of a family and the raising of children.  Dr. Davelman  is also committed to helping people meet their health and wellness goals, whether that means exercising more, losing weight, quitting smoking or sleeping better. By looking at the mental health components of wellness, Dr. Davelman helps clients achieve the goals they set for themselves while providing support during setbacks and struggles.
