ETTWomen on NBC News

NBC News Anchor Ashley Bellman stopped by ETTWomen‘s Purpose Pillar at the HMHWomenROCK 2018 event at the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park New Jersey.

It’s truly magical what a colorful 🎩, 🧣, 👑 and 👓 can bring out in a woman… And it was truly inspiring to witness how mothers and daughters, sisters and friends, besties, co-workers, and dreamers all came for some fun at our Purpose Pillar Photo Booth @ #HMHWomenROCK2018 💡

Some shared their purpose word, others their businesses, some simply a smile … In the end, we all left feeling a little more connected to each other’s stories, courage, and determination to continue to work together.

Lessons in Growing a Business

Starting, building, growing a business… is an exercise in personal development.

Growing a business tests you in so many ways. It tests your self-discipline, your intelligence, your communication skills, your focus, and so much more.

The real world of business can be very unforgiving. It’s a world where success is rewarded and mistakes are not forgotten.

So, what is the benefit in that? It keeps you honest.

I’ve learned that you cannot settle for weakness, you cannot be unwilling to do the work, you cannot pursue bad ideas, and you have to invest time and money in your continued education… or your business will fail.

Some people can’t handle the pressure of running their own business. The risk of failure becomes a serious issue. I’ve learned that risk helps you grow and it makes you stronger.

An entrepreneur who fears risk is like a swimmer who’s afraid of water.

Growing a business has allowed me to grow; it has made me aware that I am woman who can handle a lot more than I thought myself capable of.

I’ve learned to pace and challenge myself. To trust myself and others, to work (very) hard, to stay focused under pressure, to let go of what doesn’t serve my mission, to learn from others, to find a balance between family and business, and still enjoy the ride.

What have you learned from growing your business?

Presenting sponsors included University Pain Medicine Center, Liberta Co Ltd/Baby Foot, and the Bahamas. Myrtle Beach Car Accident Lawyers | Joye Law Firm is also there.

You will know how are steroids taken because these doses may be 10 to 100 times higher than doses prescribed to treat medical conditions. Steroids are also applied to the skin as a cream, gel, or patch.

Guests included Courtenay Hall (BELLA Editor-in-Chief), Dan Hall (BELLA Publisher), Kathie Lee Gifford (Today Show Host), Hoda Kotb (Today Show Host), Kristen Taekman (Bravo’s RHONY), Melissa Francis (Fox News Anchor), Carson Kressley (TV Personality), Catherine Curtin (Orange is the New Black), Charles Frattini (Discovery Channel’s Naked and Afraid), Dr. Tabasum Mir (Bravo’s Blood Sweat & Heels), Taylor Strecker (SirisuXM’s Cosmo’s Wake Up with Taylor), Andrea Helfrich (EDM Festival host of ULTRA music festivals), Max Mackenzie (actor), Shayna Leigh (singer), Nicole Lapi (Host of “Hatched” on CBS).

According to http://ratingle.com/best-sewing-machines/, it is really fun when you have your friends in a party throwing shots, chatting, and laughing. But the true fun when time comes that we don’t party no more is to practice sewing. From a girl who goes into a party into a mom in the house loving his sew works. That’s Bambini Clothing.

#ETTWomenTV: Vanessa Coppes Interviews Lisa Marie Latino at Ten Years Later Launch Party

ETTWomen Co-Founder, Vanessa Coppes caught up with Author Lisa Marie Latino at the “Ten Years Later” Launch Party held at Bloomingdales in the Short Hills Mall, NJ! Latino has been an avid ETTWomen supporter and we could not be happier for her and this new chapter in her life and business!

“Ten Years Later” is the story of a New Jersey-based sports radio producer named Carla D’Agostino who receives a save-the-date for her ten-year high school reunion and is thrown into a tailspin. She’s miserably single, living at home with her old-school Italian-American family, and miles away from her dream job as a sports talk radio host. She voices her discontent to her closest friends, the stunning Andrea, cheerful Katie, and playboy Dante, and they encourage Carla to stand up and fight for the life she wants.
